Cookie Policy

Jincove LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801 - Effective date: September 14, 2026

The short version

jincove.com does not set advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. We use two analytics services — Google Analytics and PostHog. If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, neither loads until you accept analytics cookies in the banner, and declining loads neither. Elsewhere, analytics are on by default and no banner is shown. Either way you can turn them off at any time (see Your choices), which deletes the cookies.

What this site stores in your browser

Where the analytics services are enabled depends on where you are: in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland they load only after you accept in the banner; everywhere else they are on by default (see Your choices).

  • Theme preference — your light or dark theme choice, kept in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — first-party cookies used to recognize returning visitors and measure aggregate site usage. GA4 shares your IP address, browser details and referrer with Google. See Google's cookie documentation for details.
  • PostHog cookie (ph_*_posthog) — a first-party cookie holding a random id so PostHog can tell one visitor's sessions apart. PostHog is a product-analytics service run by PostHog, Inc. in the United States (a third party). It records which pages and features you interact with (autocapture) and records sessions (session replay), and it receives your IP address, browser details and referrer. Every input field is masked in session replay, so what you type is not recorded. PostHog also mirrors some state in local storage under ph_* keys.

Your choices

How analytics are turned on depends on your region. If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, you see a banner and nothing loads until you accept: Allow analytics loads Google Analytics and PostHog, and Decline loads neither. Everywhere else, analytics are on by default and no banner is shown.

You can turn analytics off at any time:

  • In the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland — choose Decline in the banner. If you already accepted, clearing this site's data brings the banner back so you can decline. Declining stops both services in the current tab and deletes the cookies and local-storage keys they set — no reload needed — and we never re-enable analytics on a later visit.
  • Everywhere else — use the analytics switch at the bottom of this page to turn analytics off. We remember that choice and never override it, so it is a lasting opt-out: it stops both services and deletes their cookies straight away. You can also block the cookies with your browser or a content blocker. (Note that merely clearing this site's data — without turning analytics off here or blocking the cookies — re-enables them on your next visit, because they default to on in your region.)

If this changes

If we add other cookies or tracking later, we will update this policy first and state exactly what is set and why.
